how to visualize a change of status from two tables

I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction as to which visualization I should be using assuming my task at hand is possible.  I have two data tables:

1st data table (A) contains a call reference # and the reason for the call.

2nd data table (B) contains the same reference # and the updated reason for the phone call (call status change).

Is it possible to find out the percentage of phone calls from table A that gets a status change in table B?  If so, which visualation would I be using?

Any assistance would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous,

Please reference to this thread to merge TableA and TableB to a new one using LEFT Outer. Then use the formula below to get expected result.

In Query Editor, click on the TableA, then select “Merge Queries as New” to merge the two tables, then expand the TableB column in the merged table. It doesn’t impact on your current tables using the merge query feature to get a new table only including the call reference # in both TableA and TableB, which shows all calls from  table A that gets a status change in table B.

So create a measure to get the percentage of phone calls from table A that gets a status change in table B, and create a card visual to display expected result.

Percentage = DIVIDE(COUNTROWS(Merge1),COUNTA(TableA[reference #]))

Thank you v-huizhn-msft for your help!  In your post, you suggested that I use a card visual to present the data.  Would it be possible to use any other visualization (i.e. bar graph, or any other)?  I tried several visualizations but wasn't successful.

Hi @Anonymous,

We only display the measure and use a single field in card visual. If you use other visuals, you add another field besides the measure, the measure will change as the context of another field.

Angelia
