I have a table like this:
It is showing the correct sum but when i add a new column say "CustomerName" then "CustomerName" column contains two values for a single date, so it creates 16 rows, although it shows the correct sum. But I want to show value '8' once only for a single date, in the rest of the rows it should show (-) or blank. It should be like:
How's it possible in power BI ?
Thanks for your time.
sorry, I forgot to mentioon a point here, It shows two times 8 for a single date only when I add a column "Customer", otherwise it shows 8 only once for each date.
Just because of some dates has 2 customers, that's why It shows 2 rows for a single date and shows 8 two times for each row.
So I dont think it is a join or data structure issue, I think It needs some formatting or conditional formatting that if a single date has two or more customers it should show 8 only once in a single row and in rest of the rows it should show blank or (-).
Am I wrong ?
Thanks for your time.
Hi @AnandRanga,
It seems the relationship between TRANSDATE and CustomerName is 1:2, right?
Please try to create a matrix instead of table visual, place the TRANSDATE and CustomerName in Rows. If issue persist, please share the sample data for us to test.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
Your issue seems like a data structural one, and not formatting. Could you post a picture of the relationsships overview?
