how to show data labels in place of precodes

i am working on questionnaire data, where i have few rating questions along with gender and age  information. in data file i have all the answers in form of precodes  rather than thier labels. is there any way i can show labels inplace of precodes in my charts. eg: i have 1 and 2 for gender. and 1 to 5 in rating questions. rather than 1,2 i want to show male and female on x axis. same i want to do in case fo rating questions. Also i cant replace my values with labels in data file as rating question analysis would be difficult in that case.

here is the sample data,

genderAgeQ1Q2Q3
123344
236544
150333
236224
154552
134444
250555
245444

What's the logic if rating question analysis?  And could you post the expected result?
