how to set a default selected option in the slicers and filters

Hi ,

I have 5 coulmns date, value , item , month and year

date	value	item	Month	year
25-12-2016	200	a1	12	2016
18-09-2016	300	a2	9	2016
1/1/2017	400	a3	1	2017
17-1-2017	200	a1	1	2017

On my report I have slicers named month and year.Also have Month and year in my page level filters

If I want my slicer to by default be set at the latest month and year that has been oneter in the date column what should I do ?

For the above senario i would want my month slicer to be initially by default set to 01 and the year slicer to be at 2017 .

simmilarly with the filters.

As I know, currently the requirement that specifing a default value for slicer or filters is not a supported feature. Here is the link for the idea has been submitted to Power BI team Default Selected Slicer or Tile-By Value Configuration, you can vote it up. Our product team will evaluate it and consider to add it in future release.
