how to get ith value in a field

Hello,

Imagine that I have a table Named Table1.  Table1 may contains few different fields, let's say Field1, Field2, ..., Field10.

If for Example, Field3 contains the following values

a

b

c

d

e

f

g

How can I select 4th value which is equal to e?

Thanks in advance for your help

@Anonymous What is the context of the calculation you are trying to accomplish? Do you need to filter the row down to only that value? Do you need only that value to be compared to something else? Do you need that value as a starting point?

What I need this value as starting point.  I may need another value (next field) as an ending point

Hi @Anonymous ,

I have a little confused about your scenario.

If it is covenient, could you show your sample data in text-tabular format in addition to or screen captures. That allows people trying to help to readily copy the data and run a quick test, plus it increases the likelihood of your question being answered. Just use 'Copy table' in Power BI and paste it here.

I also would appreciate it if you could share your desired output so that we could understand your logic better.

Best  Regards,

Cherry
