how to create a filtered measure of a date column for my AXIS?

i have my AXIS = [created_month]
my bars are num / den (calculated by count of current month back 1 year)
my data has 20% nulls for [created_month]

my chart works ok except there is an extra row of data of blanks as shown in my image
sample3.jpg
i would like to add a measure or column [Month Year] of [created_month] and filter it to exclude blanks for my AXIS
OR
have to AXIS somehow not show the blanks

i need blanks in my data num and den calucations

Hello  @Anonymous I think I understand your need but perhaps not so forgive me if this does not answer your question fully.

I have found the most effective way to remove these is simply to filter them out either on the visual or the page. In your example I would do this on the Numerator column, on the visual level filter expand where it has Nuumerator and filter by IS NOT BLANK.

I hope this has helped

Kind regards

Apply a visual level filter on any of value measure - is not blank
