Project IDsPhase 1 DatePhase 2 DatePhase 3 Date
Project 112/1/201912/2/201912/4/2019
Project 212/4/201912/7/201912/9/2019

I tried to re-pro the issue from my end and got the below.

unpivot-testing.JPG

I just pasted your data by using the "enter data".

Home >> Edit queries >> Edit Queries >> (before select the mulitple columns for the unpivot by clicking on "CTRL") >> Unpivot Columns

Hope it will help for your issue.

I have posted a post for making a gaant chart may help you.

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Think-inside-the-box-Custom-visuals-using-Standard-Visuals/ba-p/712092

Also you need to unpivot your columns, to apply the option on the post.

Hi MFelix,

thanks for the reply. I tried several things: transpose, unpivot but can't get my data in order.

I know i need to get my data in this form:

TaskUserStart Date
Project 1Phase1 Date29-11-18
Project 1Phase2 Date14-05-19
Project 1Phase3 Date17-05-19
Project 2Phase1 Date14-01-19
Project 2Phase2 Date15-01-19
Project 2Phase3 Date23-05-19
Project 3Phase1 Date10-01-19
Project 3Phase2 Date10-01-19
Project 3Phase3 Date10-01-19

but i can't get to do it. when i unpivot my original table i get this table:

Phase1 Date   Phase2 Date   Phase3 Date    Attribute    Value

2018-11-292019-05-142019-05-17Project IDProject 1
2019-01-142019-01-152019-05-23Project IDProject 2
2019-01-102019-01-102019-01-10Project IDProject 3
2018-12-222019-02-082019-01-30Project IDProject 4
2019-05-032019-05-032019-05-24Project IDProject 5

Hi @Anonymous ,

As @venal  you need to select only the phase columns and then select the unpivot that should give expected result.
