how to connect with on-premises databases

Hi,

I have started working on Power Bi and my application and databases are reside local/on-premises.  I have to develop and publish reports on Power Bi online.

pls guide how can Online Power Bi can get connected with local/On-Premises applciations and database. what should i have to setup.

pls guide.

To connect to on-premise data source, you should download and install the lastest on-premise data gateway and configure the data source credentails in "Manage Gateway" in power bi service. For more details about data gateway and how to configure credentials for gateway. You can refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem.
