how to calculate YTD for the last month?

Hi,

I have a YearMonth slicer (eg:2020/04), I would like to create a YTD measure for the last month (which would be 2020/03 here).

Is there a function for that?

@YunJ ,

YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(('Date'[Date]),"12/31"))

Last Month YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Month),"12/31"))

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :

Hi @YunJ

In Quick Measures, there is Calucaltion->Time Intelligence->Year-To-Date-Total. Hope it will solve your requirement.
