how to apply filter on column timestamp in direct query mode.filters should be year,month,day,hour

I have created a live connection between snowflake and power bi desktop and loaded a table into power bi using direct query mode.

I am having a date column of type timestamp. I want to apply filters as year,month,day and hour by taking values from date column.

Please suggest me a solution so that i could apply above filter.

Hi snaketb, 

As I know, there is no slicer or filter could show data hierarchy based on date field, so I think you need to create column to show corresponding Year, month, and date, then apply these fields in filter or slicer. Because you use live connection, I think you need to do this in SSAS model(re-create year, month column in your project and deploy it to server)
