how can i use key for the displayed value in Power BI

i have created dimension where i made visible city_name but hidden city_key, when somebody selects city_name it should apply the filter on correspondong city_key how can i achive it in power BI

Hi Prabhakar,

The hiding of column does not effect on any calculations in your powerbi file. The hiding of the column feature is to only reduce the visible compelexity of the model for end users. 

You can develop ypur calculations and at the end can hide/unhide the specific column.
