hide model/data view in powerbi desktop

Hi,

How can I hide this 2 icons in PowerBI desktop?  I don't want other users to see them when they download the pbix.

Hi @summer18

There is no option to hide the model/data view in Power BI Desktop as Power BI Desktop is an on-premises application for report designers to create a report. Report designers need these views when designing a report.

If you only want to share the report content with other people, you could publish a report to Power BI Service and share it through various ways (Ways to collaborate and share in Power BI).

If you want to share report content not via the Internet, you could export a report into a PDF or Power Point file. However, in this way, the report is in static file format which is not interactive (Export reports to PDF).

@summer18 , I doubt any option for that. pbix is not for sharing. You should share the report via the power bi service.
