help on multiplier parameter

Hello

I need to create a mesure with a multiplier parameter in order to multipliate the fields Sales which is a decimal number

But it doesn't works because Power Bi says there is a "circular dependancy"

What is the problem please?

MultiplierSales = 'financials'[Sales] * [Valeur Multiplier]

@jip31 , there can be a few reason for that, refer:https://www.sqlbi.com/articles/avoiding-circular-dependency-errors-in-dax/

Can you share a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

Hello

I dont know why but now it's a new error message

The "Sales" column is not found

What I have to do please for working??

The error stating sales column can not be found is usually related to your query and the change type. Usually if you delete that step then refresh the query that can fix it.

Hi @jip31 ,

Can you upload your .pbix file or provide some sample data for test?

Remember to remove the confidential information.
