formula for development of numbers

Hello,

I have data like following:

Unbenannt.PNG

And I want to create a line chart / area chart like:

06.04.2020 = 5 cases

07.04.2020 = 5 + 3 = 8 cases

14.04.2020 = 5 + 3 + 3 - 2 = 9 cases because for 14.04.2020 we have two cases are already invalid ( PK = 4 and 8 )

What would be the right measure for this presentation? I tried CALCULATE COUNT and TOTALYTD in conbination with no success.

Many thanks.

hello amitchandak,

it looks good. it is not the the YTD presentation but a good different presentation of the development 👍😊

CROSSFILTER(Employee[Start Date],'Date'[Date],None) because we dont want that some date filter has
an influence to the visual?

many thanks!

Hi @Pikachu-Power ,

You don't have to use YTD, Please refer to the following measure:

Measure = CALCULATE(COUNT('Table'[PK]), FILTER(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Creation Date] <= SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Creation Date])&& 'Table'[InvalidDate] >SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Creation Date])))
