Using a line chart (for example) that shows sales by Year, Quarter, Month, and Day. The end user has the chart showing Sales by Year only.
Then they click Export Summarized data.
It exports to excel all the levels of the x axis down to the day level, even though the chart is only showing Year.
This makes data exports far less useful as there is no way to grab the data as it is summarized or aggregated in the chart.
Right clicking the chart and selecting show data does not let it export the data that is shown as a table below it.
@OneWithQuestion yes export data will export to last granularity on x-axis, only solution I think of not having that heirarchy, just year level but may be that is not you want. Having said that, I don't see there is any solution for this except removing the columns from hiearchy.
