error refreshing Excel tabular model when changing filter value

Scenario :Analysis Services Server with Tabular Model

We have a model with several tables and connected via EXCEL

Excel itself has several tabs and in the filters section, for example, we have filtered some names of accounting accounts.

if, for whatever reason, the name of an accounting account changes in the database and this name was in the excel filter it does not allow you to update data

In this case the name of the account 'Benefits of services A' now does not exist in the database because the name has been changed so the excel sheet stops working.

Error captured:

Query (1, 9) Object '&[Provision of services A]' was not found in the cube during the analysis of the string [ACCOUNTS]. [AcctName].&[Provision of services A].

Query Text:
SELECT {[CUENTAS].[ AcctName].&[Prestaciones de servicios A]} ON 0 FROM [MOD_FINANCES] CELL PROPERTIES CELL_ORDINAL

If the EXCEL only has ONE tab, the filter is removed and updated, and the problem is solved but if the filter is in several tabs of the same sheet it does not work and you have to copy one by one the tabs to a new book ... as indicated in this link :

Is there some other way to solve this problem ¿

Thank you

Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,

You may refer to:

Actually the queation looks like to be related to Excel PowerPivot rather than Power BI, I would suggest you post a thread in this forum to get support: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/home?forum=sqlkjpowerpivotforexcel
