employee id generation

Hello folks,

Need a help to create a calculation for my practice study .

I have a scenario that " We have a table employee .An employee is joining in a organization ,an ID has to generate and when an employee is resigning another ID has to create in the same ID-column and need to find the active employee details "

so what will be the querry for this in dax as well as in  sql ? Please help me about it . Thanks in advance .

Hi @ashikts ,

 

Power BI is the tool that used for  transforming the data to analyze it. In the absence of data support, your request may look like generating data. I'm afraid you can't do this in PowerBI

@ashikts ,The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

@amitchandak sir, i do not have data with me .

 

when employee A is joining the organization , in ID column one ID number has to generate and when A is resigning ,similarly one ID has to generate . then we need to find the details of active and inactive employees
