Hi Everyone,
I am embedding reports on web applications and the end users want to be able to edit the text in a textbox visual or in any other way. I cannot give them freedom to edit the reports so I publish them in view mode. Is there a way to go about this?
@niki_b Not aware of a way to do that. What is the use case? As in, why exactly do they want to edit a text box? Can Comments in the Service meet the need?
They are not viewing the report in the service. It is embedded in the web application. I think even if I am able to give them an option to add comments on the visuals, that will work for them. But I dont see any possible way to do that!
@niki_b How are you embedding, using Power BI Embedded or using an embed code for like Publish to Web or SharePoint?
Using Power BI embedded.
@niki_b Hmm, seeing a few threads on this, all unanswered so that does not bode well. 😞
Thanks for your help. Lets wait for Microsoft to add more features like these.
