I have a date table.
I have year, quarter and month as rows. And I have total sales as values. Nothing in column.
When I try to drill down using my date table hierarchy, the double arrow (two side by side arrows) does not work....but the "trident" arrow does. I can use it to drill down.
If I use the double arrow , I get the contiguous dates error message.
Any idea why?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Can viewing this video help you?Drill Down and Drill Across data in a Matrix Power BI - YouTube
If the problem is still not solved, can you provide detailed test data and detailed requirements so that I can do further testing?

Henry

I've acutally just encountered the same issue, I have no idea what the cause of this is, as i have multiple reports connected to the same model and the drill-throughing the matrix to the date grouping as the last value doesn't seem to work but if date is not last in the grouping it works.
Hi,
Could you please try with Calander or Date table columns in the row section?
Appreciate a Kudos! 🙂
If this helps and resolves the issue, please mark it as a Solution! 🙂
