different reading permissions to different users

Hi,

I have a powerbi desktop report that contains financial data for several countries in Europe. I would like to share this report with a wider audience, but I would like to restrict the viewing permissions like this:

- Full access to the whole Europe report -> Europe manager only

- Limited access to Country A-> Country A manager + Europe manager only

- Limited access to Country B-> Country B manager + Europe manager only

....

I would like to define this based on the "Country" field that I have in my database.

Is there a possibility for that? Or do I have to create so many reports as many countries I have?

Thanks,

Tilda

hi @tilda, you can create Row Level Security and define roles as per the combinations mentioned. The folks assigned to the specific roles will see the data as expected.

Please refer to the Mcirosoft docs link on the topic.
