difference in averagex in measures and average in filters

Hi, so I used a measure to calculate the measure of elapsed days from one event to another.

The values derived are different from the results gotten from the filter panel (average).

here's the measure used: 

Measure = AVERAGEX(DISTINCT(items[receptacleid]),CALCULATE(AVERAGE(items[Column])))

Can someone explain to me where are there some differences in the value?

Hi, to clarify, In this case, Distinct actually refers to distinct rows.

Is there any way to make a measure like this work based on Distinct columns only?
