dd:hh:mm:ss

Hi,

 

After I upload the below excel sheet into power bi it will show an error in the highlighted row.

How can i change the data type in Power BI as dd:hh:mm:ss?

Hi @cham,

 

To format data in "dd:hh:mm:ss", you can add a calculated column with below DAX:

Column = FORMAT(Table[TimeField],"dd:hh:mm:ss")
But, the data type will be converted to Text, as "dd:hh:mm:ss" is not a supported date/time type by Power BI.

Hi,

 

Thank you for your measure. 

But i upload the sheet into power bi and close and apply the sheet then it will show errors. 

 

I canadd a column using your meausure but the error in the edit query will remain same right?

How to avoide that?
