days360 excel function, what is powerbi alternative?

Hi Everyone,

I need to calculate the number of quarters used between two dates, I have managed to locate the following formula for excel which provides the exact result I require. However the 'days360' component is not available within PowerBI and I have been unsuccessfull in identifing a work around.

Could anyone provide assistance?

Forumla;
start date is A2, end date is A3
=ROUNDUP((DAYS360(EOMONTH(A2,-1)+1,EOMONTH(A3,0))/30+MOD(MONTH(A2)-1,3))/3,0)

Thank you

Hey @EvanS,

the equivalent of the DAY360 Function would be the YearFrac-Function (I bet with the third parameter set to 3)

Please check it out 🙂

If this post was helpful may I ask you to mark it as solution and give it a 'thumbs up'? This will also help others.

Have a nice day!
