Hi team,

I  have a coloumn "event date"

how to create a coloumn or dynamic coloumn, which  calculates  me like below

all previous months as YTD  ( that means, this month is june, so the previous month should show as YTD)
Current month - "MMM"-YYYY (ie Jun-2019
and all the banks and future dates as" Upcoming"

Hi @vjnvinod ,

It is hard to test without any sample data, please share some sample data to help us clarify your table structure.

BTW, if you mean you want get previous YTD, you can try to use following calculate column formulas if they suitable for your requirement.

Prev YTD =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( Table[Amount] ),
    FILTER (
        ALL ( Table ),
         Table[EventDate]  <  EARLIER ( Table[EventDate] )
            && YEAR ( Table[EventDate] ) = YEAR ( EARLIER ( Table[EventDate] ) )
    )
)

Upcoming =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( Table[Amount] ),
    FILTER (
        ALL ( Table ),
        [EventDate] > EARLIER ( Table[EventDate] )
            && YEAR ( Table[EventDate] ) = YEAR ( EARLIER ( Table[EventDate] ) )
    )
)
