date to default today date when user opens report

hi

i have the scenrio where my users should have the defualt date slicer with today as option but there should also have the from date and to date as between time slicer as well but when they open the report by defualt from and to date should be today . I think this is not possible currently . For that i had created the measure for "most recent" "Not latest"  as two options as slicer . when i select the latest from and to date is not chaging to today where my users are getting confused because of this . can anyone guide me how i can i set the from and to date slicer ? Here is below example even if i clicked on most recent date which is"03/18/2019" the "to date " and "from date " is being static there .can anyone guide me here

Now when you log out of Power BI and come back to a report, the same items will be selected as when you left.

So for your requirement, it couldn't achieve that set a default value(or maxdate) for a slicer.

And even though you created the measure column for "most recent" "Not latest"  as two options as slicer . when you select the latest, the date slicer will not be changed dynamically.

For you requirement, I suggest you use relative date slicer in power bi.
