Re: date hierarchy missing

Is it marked as date table? Right click on table Name. There is an option

Re: date hierarchy missing

Hi @mellyVK ,

It's impossible to sue "date hierarchy" if you use "Direct Query" connection model.

And  as tested, the date hierarchy cannot be displayed if this column is linked to other column.

The impact of table relationships on date hierarchies

1:1

bb9.PNG

1:*

(1: the date can use hierarchy; *: can't)

bb11.PNGbb12.PNG

*:*

Smmarize: only one side of the date can use the date hierarchy.

So you may need to modify your table model.

Best regards,
Lionel Chen
