data limitation at 480 rows

I can't figure out what's going on. My source data is an excel file. i refreshed it with new data but even so the file is aout 500 rows.

the refresh is working but the query editor and the data view only shows 480 records. so either the top rows are lopped off or the bottom ones. I know Power BI desktop can work with millions of rows so i dont know what i am doing wrong here!! thank you for your help.

Hi @nishavk

In your scenario, you have 480 rows in your original excel file, then you data source changed, now there have 500 rows. The issue is that you can only get 480 rows in Power BI report after refresh, right?

Obviously, 480 rows is not limition in Power BI desktop. In your scenario, you can try to createa another Power BI report, and import the new excel file into it and check if you can import all the data into it.

The issue can be related the refresh issue in Power BI deskrop. Which version are your using? It's seem that the Sep version has a refresh issue, here is a similar issue for you reference
