data formatting issues

I am unable to change the formatting of a field in a report.  On the modeling tab I've change the Data Type Whole Number & Format to Whole Number.  Selected the ,  & the decimal places shows 0.  The report continues to show the number with two decimal places. Also when I look at the table view the field is formatted correctly.

NOTE:  I have another field with the similar data that displays on the report correctly. Any suggestions on why The formatting would be locked in the report for one field?

Hi - there's one other place that the number of decimal places is controlled. In the formatting pane when you have a chart selected, you should see options there for data label decimal places etc. What type of visual are you using in the report? Make sure you've got the latest version of the Desktop too, we have been working on new feature and bug fixes in this area! It got released last week so check if there's a new version available. Just log in to the Power BI Service and click the downloads button in the top right corner. Hope that helps! Will
