Hi all,
I have a report that I use for several companies.
Each company has different FY and data set and we add those in parameters to set it up quickly.
One of page of my report is for actual vs target with 6 different gauge vizual.
Instead of manually set up target directly in the format of each visualization, could I have the manager type it in a set-up page so it could be reference to by a parameter or a measure that would be in the visual.
Hope my message is clear enough

Try to add a table and create relationship, then a slicer might be helpful.
Have you considered using Query Editor parameters?
You could offer a series of these to the report user which drive some Query Editor functions around date start/end ranges etc
Hi Phil,
Thank you for helping me.
Yes I tought of it, but I want to keep it really really simple for the user.
I was wandering if I could add tile to the first page of the report and have the user enter a value that I could then push to the parameter.
I would not want the user to go into desktop to add parameters

HI
I thought about that yesterday.
I'm going to add an excel spreadsheet so the can enter the numbers and I will add this file to my data model.
