course 2.5 new measure

Following thecourse. This formula is presented.

Edx.PNG

For me it isn't possible to construct this in PowerBI.

Especially the part between ...[Revenue]) and 'Date'[Date])

I cannot use a comma to enter 'Date'[Date]). Only by using it's possible but then the formula doesn't work.

Who can help me?

Gérard

Hi @Denkende_Doener,

Based on your information, it seems that the syntax of your formula is correct, but you said that your formula doesn't work.

Do you get any error message? I would appreciate it if you could provide some the screenshots to show the issue.

In addition, please check if you have created the relationship between Sales table and Date table with date column.

Cherry

Thanks Cherry,

I did a new attempt and the following works:

YTD revenue2 = TOTALYTD(sum(Sales[Revenue]);'Date'[Date])

So not a comma but ;

Maybe it has to do with the Dutch version where I am working with
