could not load the data for the visual

Hi All,

Am using SSAS with live connection. when i connect to SSAS in powerbi desktop, dax expressions are not working  getting Error like this"could not load the data for the visual. unexpected Error".

when i keep the same expression in pbix file its working fine.

Please help to resolve this issue

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you mean connect SSAS with live connection mode insted of direct query? It seemed SSAS just could offer "Import" or "Live Connection" mode. If you are using live connection mode, we are not able to create a calculated measure in Power BI desktop if we connect live to SSAS cube currently. You can vote this idea up: Calculated measures when live connected to MDX cubes.
