copying visualisation formatting between two desktop files

I am developing a new desktop with a different data set and would like to take the formatting used on particular visulaisations in a fully developed desktop across to a new desktop file and apply that formatting to the same visualisation type in the new file.

Is there an easy way to do that?

I have used the cut and paste option between different pages within the one desktop file and that works fine.

I am trying to avoid having to configure formatting options of matices, tables, slicers etc from scratch each time I start a new desktop.

cheers

Doug

Hi @DougV,

Actually there are huge amount of user submit this requirement, I'd like to suggest you vote below idea. (it is complex and hard to achieve because of data model and relationships)

Allow copy and paste between different PBIX's
