Good day community,
I have a text column that contains numeric data (as text) as well as alphanumeric data. I have tried to convert the text column to numeric, but receive error messages on rows that are alphanumeric. Is there any way to set the alphanumeric values to null and then convert the column to numeric?
Thanks to all for your help.

Create a custom column using this formula below, then you can convert this custom column to numeric
try Number.FromText([Text]) otherwise null
Hi @JimB-GA ,
Is the content structure of your text column is regular? If yes, you can try to use Replace Value or Split Column by special symbol(such as space, _..... ), or using DAX function such as SUBSTITUTE,FIND,MID, and so on. Or could you please show your sample data or screenshots for further analysis?
Best Regards,
Amy
