am using a xls file as source for PBI and in one of the columns i have numbers which looks like
1,4441E+16 of course the other numbers look "normal" like 133.32 .
the question is how can i convert this 1,4441E+16 to a decimal number....
hope you can help me out on this.

@emveha even, if you see those numbers like 14441E+16. Just ignore and place on it on the visuals. You can see the Proper Numbers. You may need to play with the formatting setting under Model Tab.
did you try to import into Power BI and see how the data is showing?

I have just changed the format from the General to Number and all set.

again thanks for helping out on this topic, the issue is that by changing the format of the field in xls, it does not solve anything. As soon as you upload this file with the new values to Power Bi you still have an nr that looks like 14441E+16 despite the changes on the format.....
