convert Year (whole number) into correct date format

Hi,

I have below (csv) dataset, only three columns.

Country or Area = Text

Year = Whole number

Value = Whole number

1. how do I convert Year into correct date format?

2. what is perhaps recommended to format it, power query before loading data or DAX after data is loaded?

I'd just change it in Power Query, you should just be able to make the type a date and it'll give everything the first day of that year
