connecting to Azure from a different domain

I'm working on a proof of concept to have one central SQL db in Azure with the ability of subsidiary companies of the parent having the ability to connect to it.  I'm not an AD person, but I know that for the most part, they're all separate domains.  Is there a way to log into power bi with a different set of credentials to get the data?

just realized I can hit it by entering the server name and the next screen that comes up is the credentials screen.

 

Need more coffee.
