Hello,
I know that there is a Azure Devops connector available with Power BI. I would like to know if it is possible to connect to an azure devops site accessible for guess, to make some test and to learn how it works.
Regards,
Hi @Anonymous
What is this "an azure devops site accessible for guess"?
Do you mean you don't have a azure devops account, you want to test for the intergration of azure devops and Power BI?
If so, links below can lead you how to use azure devops for first time:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/user-guide/?view=azure-devops
you learn how to sign up for Azure DevOps for free, sign in with a Microsoft or GitHub account, create an organization, create a project, and invite your teammates.
Then connect to it with Power BI.
Hello Maggie,
I am now able to connect to our Azure Devops site but I obtains few fields compare to those shown in the video.
In the video we see fields such as:
activity
area path
assigned to
backlog priority
changed by
changed date
Close by
Close Date
Comment
Created by
Created Date
cycle time Days
Date
effort
Found in
Ingegration build
is current
While In our table the information we obtained is:
Area path
assigned to
date
is current
ineration Path
State
Title
work items id
work item type
we do not obtain any information related to work history.
Do you know why?
Is it a connection problem or is it related to the way our site is setup?
If so, is it possible to find an Azure DevOps site where I can connect as guest an hopefully see a more complete information to test how Power BI react with the site.
