Hi,

I have the requirements appreciate your help.

Requirement: I have a Dataset with Financial Year, Date, Clients, Revenue, and i wish to calculate the previous month Revenue and  for each client and change% in the below table format.

2. Need your help on measures to calculate Previous month revenue of the respective client and change.

3. Need the the total revenue of the client in a year. 

Basically i'm comparing the total revenue of the cleint at month-month and Year-Year. I tried all the measures which were advised in google.

It seems that you want to calculate the Previous month revenue of the respective client and change.

If it is convenient, could you share your data sample as table format and then I could have test on it.

I would appreciate it if you could share your desired output so that we could understand your scenario better. Because I have confused what previous month value do you want to get when the current month is 2019 /1, do you want to show the value of 2018/12?

You'll need first to unpivot this table to put the data in a tabular format, as an example you can create a table containing 3 columns: Client, Month and Value

In Power BI desktop you have the feature to unpivot this type of tables (look in Query Editor under Tools menu)

Then, you'll need to create your measure based on the new table structure

Hi,

I'll correct my self,

In the below, I need to present the data in the attached table format in Power BI, need to present the Current Year Total Revenue, Previous Year Revenue of the client and change ( Month-Month  and Year-Year in two pages).

i already have the data set with 3 columns, Date, Financial Year, Client and Revenue.  

Hope i'm clear from my end, please let me know if you need a sample data representation in Power BI
