compare current year sales with last year

Hi Guys,

    I am new to power bi i need to compare current year sales with last year. i am having data from 2018 january to 2019 november and connected live through SSAS cube. when i use SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR i am able to get the last year value. But when i apply the year filter say 2018 the it shows the current year value but the last year value 2017 becomes blank. Provide me a solution

Because you don’t have the data of 2017, so when you filter 2018, the values of last year are blank.
