## compare amount previous period when using manual date range

Hi all

I know formula for previous month /year. However if the user selects two date for a range, say 01/12/2022 -05/12/20200, is there a way to automatically calculate values for dates 26/11/2022 - 30/11/2022 without having 2 date slicers?

Thanks

@samantha75 , Try a measure like

same period based on date range Last Period =
var _max =maxx(ALLSELECTED('Date'),'Date'[date])
var _min =Minx(ALLSELECTED('Date'),'Date'[date])
var datediff1 = datediff(_min,_max,day)+1
var _maxX = _max-datediff1
var _minX = _min -datediff1
return
CALCULATE(sum(Sales[Net Sales]),filter(all('Date'),'Date'[date]<=_maxX && 'Date'[date]>=_minX))
