Hi,
I have a problem with my colmns moving after I close and apply Power Query as shhown in these pictures:
How I can fix it and avoid it happening again?
Hi @Anonymous
Is the second picture in Data view or in Power query?
If it is in Power query, drag this column and move it.
If it is in Data view, i can't reproduce your problem.
Could you show me an simple test file via OneDrive link?
(enter data by "Enter data" so that i can steps or code in Edit queries)
Best Regards

@v-juanli-msftthanks!
in the first post, the upper picture is showing it in Power Query view and the lower picture is in Report View, I was wondering why the two column displaced?
Hi @Anonymous
I can't reproduce your problem.
Does the first screen show when you click on Promoted headers on APPLIED STEPS pane?
when you nagivate from Power Query view to Report View, do you click on "apply&&close"?
If you click on "apply&&close", the picture in Report View should show the same as picture on last step "Renamed Column1" in Power Query view.
Best Regards

What steps did you apply?
Could you share some code in Advanced editor so that i can reproduce it and find the reason?
