clustering in mapbox.

Has anybody done clustering using the mapbox custom visual . what kind of column is required for that field. If anyone could explain with an example,it would be really helpful . Thanks in advance.

Use cluster aggregations to understand spatial trends way beyond density by styling clusters based on a measure sum, min, max, or average value.

So “what kind of column is required for that field?”,  the column dragged to the cluster field must be number type.

 

For example, you could adjust the mapbox visualization to illustrate where the covered costs are lowest in the US using a cluster layer.

                                                                                Before using cluster

In the Fields panel, add the Covered Charges field from your data to the Cluster shelf,

In the Format panel:

Turn the Cluster layer On and the Circle layer Off.

Under Cluster, select maximum from the Aggregation type drop down list
