changing the Common data source for multiple reports in power bi service

Hi all,

I have 30 to 40 reports in my power bi sevice , where it is connected to one data source (different tables for each reports i. with same server as datasource) these reports are live . i want to change the data source to point the server 's new ip replacing the existing one.

How can i change for all, Should i have download each report and change the data source in power bi desktop? 

or Can i do that in power service itself?

Is there anyoption to change alll the reports data source at a time in service?

is there anywork with gateway?

I have arised these questions please someone do help me to solve this situation.

I think your only option now is to download each one and change them individually in pbi desktop.

The guide below shows how to set up connection strings as parameters that will makes the process quicker in the future also for switching between dev and live in the pbi service
