cardinality changing automatically

I created a relation from CustomerKey(primary key) in Customer Table (Dimension table) to Customer Key(ForeignKey) in Sales table (fact Table) and with Cardinality "One to many" and with "Single" filter direction in Realtionship view.

But when i edit to open and see the relationship cardinality is changing to "Many to One" automatically. I don;t know why it's happening even though i changed manullay to "One to Many".

Apprciate any suggestion to resolve this cardinality issue.

Hi @RajD,

Can you confirm your table records are suitable for that relationship mode? If your table records changes, power bi will detect and update table relationships.

You can also turn off auto detect relationship options.

Hi @RajD,

I also see this "issue" however it's only a question of visualization if you check the tables you are getting the correct table with the correct cardinality, this can also be visible in the table diagram where you see the 1 to * image and the arrow pointing from the one to the many table.

Never reported it because the models are working correctly however as you say when you edit manually it appears it's incorrect, you can open a post in the issues forum.
