can we show /hide a visualization based on selection ?

Hi ,

I am from Qlik View background and new to PBI.

can we show /hide  a visualization based on selection ?

ex: i have a slicer to select country. Based on country selection , I have to show the state selection slicer.

that means only after selection of country only my state slicer should visible.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards,

Suresh Peddirsi.

Hi,

1. We can't hide the slicer in Report view.

but

If u select the country in slicer the relavent State only shows in the next slicer.

If i select the country in slicer the relevant State only shows in the next slicer. It means all states should be invisible before selecting the country.when i select country then only particular related states should visible. mode.If it is possible let me know.

Cool Dear friend 🙂 🙂

If nothing is selected in the slicer is equal to all selected. so all state is visible if nothing selected in country.

when i select country then only particular related states should visible mode. This is valid point.True.

🙂

We will rock with Power and DAX.

Let me know if any help requiered on power bi
