Hi,
In the making of this solution http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Show-data-of-last-months-from-a-particular-month-filtering-w....
In this case to show the value of the actual month and the value of same month of the last year. What I do is take the Visual Level Filter that I need.
This Works fine until I try to show the month and the year like columns on matrix. That is, I am trying to cross my value through a hierarchy that I call Empresa / Finca. If I show the crossing of the Company, the head office, year and month, by rows it works well.
But when I try to pass Año_Mes to columns, the matrix does not show anything anymore.
But if I remove the filter applied to the DateDifference metric if it shows all the values, it is as if the matrix was not able to filter those columns.
Hi @v-jiascu-msft,
I leave the link to download the pbix file.
You tell me if it works for you.
Thank you so much.

The solution you posted in your initial post isn't proper for your case. If you clear the filter "Datedifference", there will be data showing up.
How about this?
1. Add a calculated column in the table "Fechas Informacion".
Month = Month([Fecha Informacion])
2. Add the column "Month" to the "Visual level Filters".

Hi @v-jiascu-msft,
Thank you very much for your solution, although it is not precisely month 01 and month 12 what I want to see.
What I need is to be able to show the value of the filtered month and the value of the same month but of the previous year. That is if the user selects February of 2017 that shows the value of that month and February of 2016.
With the datediferrence, I intended to do that since this metric starts at 0 with the filtered month and gives 12 just at the value of the month of the previous year.
Hi @YeseniaGaviria,
Can you share your pbix file please? You can mask your real data. I don't have the data and the structure, so I can't reproduce it. You can upload your file to a cloud drive like OneDrive, GoogleDrive, then send me a message with the link that I can download the file from.
Best Regards,
Dale
