calculating metric from 2 existing metrics using date as cutover

Im teaching myself to use DAX and im running into an issue with generating a combined metric from 2 existing metrics.

The 2 metrics are:

Actual Sales

Forecasted Sales

THe issue i have is that i want to create a combined metric, while using an attribute i have to define when do i take 1 metric compared to the other.

The attribute i have is called "weeks ago". It stipulates like below:

Week                           Week Ago

9-2018                         2

10-2018                       1

11-2018                       0

12-2018                       -1

So what im trying to create is 1 metric that when  Week Ago <= 0 then it should take the metric called Actual Sales.

When Week Ago > 0 then it should take the metric called Forecasted Sales

Any ideas 🙂 trying using IF statements etc. but cant get it working

Should be something along the lines of:

Measure = IF(MAX(Table[Weeks Ago])<=0,[Actual Sales],[Forecasted Sales])

@ me in replies or I'll lose your thread!!!
