calculating forecasted completion by quarter for each category

All,

I couldn't find an out of the box solution for the topic and hope someone can provide guidance on how to execute this.

problem:

I have category A, B & C. Consider $100 for each category for the entire fiscal year. Customer would like to show a bar chart by quarter with % allocated $$ for each categories

For example, category A might have 5%, 25%, 45%, 25%,  while B might have 25%, 50%, 10%, 15% and C will have 50%, 20%, 20%, 10%.

Chart will be quarter in the x-axis, $$ in the y-axis and category as Legend.

Thank You

V.
