bookmarks persist in phone view

I have a desktop report with a filter panel (as inspired by Guy in a Cube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0wOf8XttgU). It basically uses the selection pane and bookmarks to show or hide the slicers on the report, giving me more screen for data. It works great.

The problem is in creating a phone view of the report. The default state of the slicers is hidden, and only shows if they click on the button that activates the bookmark to show them. In phone view, I can drag the slicer to the phone layout, but when the report runs on my phone, the slicer is hidden, with no (obvious) way to activate the bookmark that makes it visible. It looks like I'll have to create a second version of the report just for phone if there is no way around this. Any ideas?

Hi @Anonymous

As tested with my phone, it works for the setting in Power BI Desktop.

What you meet occurs when you select "phone layout" in Power BI Desktop, right?

If so, don't worry about this, i test and find the same thing, it is normal behavior.

After configuring the setting as your link, save and publish your report to Power BI Service,

then use Power BI mobine app in your phone, connect to your account,

you could find the report here and it should work correctly.

(tips: press the button for a while on your phone)

Best Regards

Maggie
