bidirectional relations in Excel Add-in

I use the Excel add-in for PowerBI extensively and find that sometimes my bidirectional relationships in PowerBI function via the excel add-in and sometimes, for no apparent reason, they do not.
These are relationships that work fine in PowerBI.  Sometimes they transfer via the add-in and sometimes they do not.
Extremely frustrating bug.

Does someone understand why/under what context they work/do not work?

Thank you.

Which Addin are you referring to?  Do you mean Power BI, that allows you to connect to a dataset from Excel?  I think this may be depreciated (I’m not sure), but the process should be the same for Analyse in Excel. I have never heard of this working, then not working. If you can reproduced it, i suggest you log a bug with Microsoft.

I mean the Excel add-in that allows you to connect to a PowerBI dataset and create pivots in Excel.
It's definitely still an active feature. It didn't stop working.
But under some conditions these bidirectional relations work and under some conditions they don't.
